Kowabunga Comics is not your regular comic shop. Founded on a love of comic books, we've grown into Lake Country's premier destination for all things pop culture. Today we buy and sell new and used video games and systems, collectible card games, tabletop and board games, vinyl records, and much more.

We are a locally owned small business, and we strive to give every customer the best shopping experience they'll ever have. Our knowledgeable staff is always ready to help you find what you're looking for — whether that's a key first appearance, a vintage cartridge, or a hot new set release.

We host one of the largest Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon pre-release allocations in Wisconsin — a testament to the incredible community that supports us.

Yes! Come in and we'll get you set up. Every week your books will be pulled and set in your box for pickup at your convenience. We prefer books be picked up monthly.

Yes! We run weekly events for D&D, MTG, and Pokémon, plus pre-release events throughout the year. Kowabunga receives one of the largest pre-release allocations in Wisconsin — thanks to our amazing customers!

The best way is to sign up for a pull list subscription so books are automatically reserved for you each release cycle. You're also welcome to call on Wednesday morning to ask about a specific title.

Yes! We specialize in metal but carry many genres — stop in to dig through our selection.
